4 April 2010     1EP Garden Project photo's now on-line                               The garden project began back in June 2009, and although the majority of the work was completed before the end of 2009, the garden is now maturing nicely and is almost complete with just additional bird boxes to be installed.   Click here for the whole story in pictures!

2 April 2010     Quiz Night Raises £537.00                                                         The District Fellowship recently organised a quiz night for the group.  The evening was a roaring success with over 10 teams battling it out for 1st Prize.  A special thanks to fellowship members June McKay who as well as writing the quiz, performed excellently as 'Quiz Master' and Edna Chandler who promoted the evening resulting in an brilliant turnout of over 60 competitive quiz going supporters!

In total, £537.00 was raised in aid of our roof appeal, which took us over £16,000 - still a very long way to go to reach our £100,000 target...  Keep returning to our website to find out details of more fund raising events and of course the date of our next quiz!    Raise the Roof Totaliser

 Thank you to all the young people and parents, friends and Scouting friends,
that have donated and collected Sainsbury’s vouchers over the past few months,
enabling our Scout Group to get some fun equipment. The final total was 5,103 vouchers – a great effort.
